Refunds / Returns under Guarantee
Our Guarantee is valid providing you have complied with the following conditions:- If you are unhappy with your purchase we will replace or refund the items concerned at our discretion. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. Please inform us of any problems within 7 working days of receiving your order. Please FAX (01205751255) or
e-mail us at sales@retrosweetshampers.co.uk for an immediate resolution to your problem.

Where your order is to be returned to us for a full refund, we do not accept liability for the return carriage costs incurred. If the order is to be refunded we will issue a refund within 30 days. If a return is arranged, a deduction will be made from the refund to cover the cost of collecting the goods. However, if returning faulty goods we will issue a refund for the return postage costs incurred. When returning goods please ensure that the products are unopened, please also include the following items, your invoice number, payment transaction number, purchase date and any gift included with your goods (gift is valued by us at £5.00). Without all these requirements we will be unable to offer you a refund.

Any goods deemed to be perishable will not be refunded as per the DSR also any seasonal products will not be refunded eg. Christmas, Easter, Valentines Day, Mothers Day or Farthers Day. In such instances, we shall have the right at our sole discretion to refuse the return if in our opinion it is not justified. Under these circumstances, the goods will be returned to you at your cost. Any 'non faulty' goods returned for a refund will be refunded minus delivery and transaction costs. We are unable to refund customised goods ie Gift Wrapping.

The contracts for the sale of goods or services by Retro Sweets & Hampers/MTL Marketing from the website www.retrosweetshampers.co.uk. The contracts for the sale of goods or services by Retro Sweets & Hampers/MTL Marketing from the website shall be exclusively subject to, governed by, construed and interpreted in accordance with English law. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of them and any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with them. Our liability to you whether for breach of contract, misrepresentation, negligence or otherwise shall in no circumstance exceed the price charged to you for the damaged, defective which give rise to such liability. Retro Sweets & Hampers/MTL Marketing shall have no liability for any indirect or consequential losses or expenses suffered by you, however caused. The contract is concluded once the goods have been received.

 

The following terms and conditions apply to all orders received for MTL Marketing products via the Retro Sweets & Hampers website at http://www.retrosweetshampers.co.uk:-

1) Retro Sweets & Hampers/MTL Marketing Order Acceptance
The sale of Retro Sweets & Hampers/MTL Marketing products shall not be considered complete until we have accepted your offer to purchase them. Our acceptance of your offer to purchase is signified when we process your payment. Retro Sweets & Hampers/MTL Marketing reserves the right to decline your order at any time up until the moment we process your payment.

2) Customer Order Cancellation (before your item has been despatched)
If you wish to cancel your Retro Sweets & Hampers/MTL Marketing purchase, you must contact us by e-mail at sales@retrosweetshampers.co.uk. Please include all the following information, your invoice number, payment transaction number and purchase date. A refund will then be issued within 30 days.

2.1) Customer Order Cancellation (after your item has been despatched)
If you wish to cancel your Retro Sweets & Hampers/MTL Marketing purchase after it has been despatched, you must contact us by

We request that the parcel is returned to us unopened and complete including any gift from Britishcandy.com, a refund will be issued within 30 days.

3) Prices
All prices shown are in UK Pounds, VAT is included in the price. We reserve the right at any time to revise prices to account for any increases in costs including the increase or imposition of any duty, tax, levy or exchange rate variation. We will take all reasonable steps to notify you of any relevant revision of prices before processing your order.

4) Delivery - Royalmail, Parcelforce48, Priority Courier
Royalmail will attempt to deliver your order once, after that you are expected to collect your parcel from your local sorting office within 5 days.

Parcelforce will automatically attempt to deliver your item twice. If you were out the first time, delivery will be attempted the next working day. If you would like to collect your parcel instead of it being attempted again, please tell Parcelforce by using their"collect" option on Parcelforces website. This needs to be done by 6pm the day the first attempt was done to ensure it does not go out on a delivery vehicle the next day.

Priority Courier delivery service will attempt to deliver your order twice, after this time you agree to follow the instructions on the calling card issued when delivery cannot be made.

We will take all reasonable steps to deliver your order within the time indicated on our Delivery Information web page. However, we will not be under any liability to you in respect of any failure to deliver within this timescale or on any particular day or dates. Title to the goods passes to you once your consignment is delivered by our nominated carrier(s). For health and safety reasons goods may not be collected in person. Orders with priority courier must be placed with us by 1am the day before you wish to receive you order. Orders received after 1am may be dispatched the following day excluding weekends and public holidays. Customers who use our Courier Delivery service or Parcelforce48 MUST provide a full delivery address and postcode where the order can be accepted and signed for. i.e. your home, a neighbour or your workplace. You agree not to hold Retro Sweets & Hampers/MTL Marketing responsible for late delivery.

4.1) Missing or lost in the post standard Royalmail delivery
Royalmail class parcels as missing once 15 working days have elapsed from the expected delivery date. If you feel your order has been lost in the post you must
e-mail us at sales@retrosweetshampers.co.uk stating that your order has been lost in the post and please include all the following information, your invoice number, payment transaction number and purchase date. Once your parcel is deemed missing we will either issue you with a full refund or replacement goods at our discretion.

4.2) Undelivered/non acceptance of UK Priority Courier Service
Initial city link couriers will leave a calling card if you not available to accept your parcel, you agree to call them as soon as possible with the details on the card and/or collect your parcel within 4 days, your parcel will be available for collection between 19.00-20.00 the same day as they tried to deliver or 08.00-20.00 monday-friday,and 08.00-12.00 saturday, you must take the card with you and some proof of identity i.e driving licence,passport,cheque guarantee card otherwise your parcel will not be released to you. After 4 days have elapsed your parcel will be returned to us, which we have to pay for. The cost of redelivery is £12.00. Payments must be made before your parcel can be redelivered. 4.3) Missing orders outside mainland UK

4.4) Missing or lost UK Priority Courier Service/Parcelforce48 delivery items
If you feel your order has been lost by Citylink or Parcelforceyou must e-mail
us at sales@retrosweetshampers.co.uk stating that your order has been lost. Please include all the following information, your invoice number, payment transaction number and purchase date. Once your parcel is deemed missing we will either issue you with a full refund or replacement goods at our discretion.

4.5) Incomplete Delivery Address or Incorrect Delivery Address
It is the customers responsibility to provide a full and correct delivery address including the postcode. Retro Sweets & Hampers/MTL Marketing will not be held responsible for orders which become lost due to an incomplete or incorrect delivery address.

4.6) Force majeure
No Party shall be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure is as a result of Acts of Nature (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster), war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (whether war is declared or not), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalisation, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labour dispute, strike, lockout or interruption or failure of electricity [or telephone service], and no other Party will have a right to terminate this Agreement under Clause 2 and 2.1 (Termination) in such circumstances

5) Ingredients
PLEASE NOTE: ALL FOOD & DRINK PRODUCTS FEATURED MAY CONTAIN NUTS AND ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR NUT ALLERGY SUFFERERS.

6) Legal Liability
The contracts for the sale of goods or services by Retro Sweets & Hampers/MTL Marketing from the website shall be exclusively subject to, governed by, construed and interpreted in accordance with English law. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of them and any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with them. Our liability to you whether for breach of contract, misrepresentation, negligence or otherwise shall in no circumstance exceed the reasonable direct costs for the damaged, defective or undelivered goods which give rise to such liability and shall in any event be limited, in aggregate, to three times the value of the goods supplied by us to you pursuant to your order.

8) Acceptance of Retro Sweets & Hampers/MTL Marketing 's Terms & Conditions
By placing an order for goods or services promoted by Retrosweetshampers.co.uk/MTL Marketing , you are deemed to have accepted our terms and conditions as governing your order. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions specified here, you must not order from Retro Sweets & Hampers/MTL Marketing.

9) Registered Office & Copyright
Britishcandy.com is a UK trading name for MTL Marketing. Material on the Retrosweetshampers.co.uk website may not be stored or reproduced in any form whatsoever without the prior written permission of MTL Marketing.

10) Out of stock or discontinued items
We reserve the right to substitute at our discretion any product that may be unavailable at the time your order is processed with items of an equal value.

11) Packaging of products shown on the retrosweetshampers.co.uk website
On rare occasions goods you receive may not arrive in the same packaging as the illustration on the retrosweetshampers.co.uk website. Weighed out or counted out products do not show the ingredients on the packaging. Ingredients where not stated will be given on request.

12) Mailing List
By ordering from Retro Sweets & Hampers/MTL Marketing you agree to be invited to join the Britishcandy.com Newsletter. You do not have to join if you do not wish to. If you do join you are welcome to leave anytime by logging in to your Account at www.retrosweetshampers.co.uk and choosing the news letter settings..

13) Gift included with your order
By placing an order on the retrosweetshampers.co.uk website you agree to receive a gift when available, which we value at £5.00.
